Spingola Awarded First-Ever Scholarship
The Blazing Star Choral Society recently awarded Margaret Spingola of Butler their first-ever musical scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to high school or college-age students majoring in vocal or choral music who participate at least one full season (fall and spring) with the choral society by attending rehearsals and performances. Interested applicants submit a letter of interest and a resume of choral and musical accomplishments. Spingola has participated in the Blazing Star Choral Society for several years and plans to major in vocal performance and biology at Gettysburg College, located in Central Pennsylvania. |
